In today's world of deep global economic and cultural integration, the global community of Chinese entrepreneurs has become an indispensable force on the world stage, with its unique business wisdom and profound cultural heritage. As business development is no longer limited to traditional models and cultural confidence has become a national strategy, we face a common proposition: How can we use design as an engine to drive business innovation, highlight brand value, and tell exceptional Chinese stories to the world?
Against this backdrop, the "Huashang Design Award" has emerged. It is not merely a design competition, but an international platform dedicated to systematically discovering, recognizing, and promoting exemplary works that perfectly integrate business wisdom, cultural connotation, artistic aesthetics, and innovative design.
Responding to the national call for building a culturally strong nation and promoting innovation-driven development, we are committed to building a bridge that connects the creative forces of Chinese entrepreneurs worldwide, promoting design to empower industrial upgrading, and enhancing the soft power of Chinese culture globally.
This year's award will be juried and exhibited entirely online, breaking geographical barriers and focusing on the core value of design and the communication power of the digital age, allowing every outstanding work to be seen by the world.

Judging Criteria
This award invites authoritative experts from domestic and international design, business, and academic circles to form a jury, which will conduct a rigorous and fair evaluation of the entries based on the following criteria:
- Innovation (30%): The forward-thinking nature and originality of the concept, technology, or model.
- Commercial Value (25%): Market potential, brand enhancement, and socio-economic benefits.
- Cultural Connotation (20%): The understanding, inheritance, and innovative expression of Chinese or regional culture.
- Artistic Aesthetics (15%): The artistic expression, formal beauty, and emotional resonance of the design.
- Social Impact (10%): Sustainability, humanistic care, and positive impact on society.
Awards and Honors
All entries will be judged in groups by category, with Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Merit Awards, as well as an Instructor Award (for instructors of Gold and Silver award-winning works in the Student Group). Winners will receive the following core value returns:
- Official Authoritative Certification: Receive a "Huashang Design Award" certificate issued by the host unit and be granted the permanent right to use the official award logo, providing a strong endorsement for your professional profile.
- Global Online Exhibition: Winning works will be showcased year-round in an exclusive digital exhibition hall on the official platform for global viewing.
- Full-Media Matrix Promotion: Winning works and their designers will receive opportunities for special features and promotion on the award's official website and through a collaborative media matrix (covering the fields of design, business, and culture).
- Inclusion in Official Digital Yearbook: Winning works will be included in the "2025 First Huashang Design Award Digital Yearbook," to be permanently archived as an industry document.
- Industry Resource Connection: Outstanding winners will have the opportunity to be recommended to our business partners and investment institutions, facilitating the commercialization of their creative achievements.
Eligibility
- Professional Group: Open to Chinese-owned enterprises, design agencies, independent designers, and related practitioners worldwide.
- Student Group: Open to current college, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, as well as university graduates within two years of graduation, from around the world.

Submission Method and Material Requirements
- Submission Portal: Please log in to the award's official submission platform, the Huashang Design Award official website (www.huashangdesign.com), and follow the instructions to complete your submission.
- Required Materials:
- Project Images: 1-10 high-resolution images in JPG/PNG format, 300 dpi, with each file not exceeding 10MB.
- Project Description: A description within 500 words, clearly articulating the project's features, innovation, and commercial value.
- (Optional) Video File: A video file can be supplemented as needed for the project, not exceeding 200MB.
Entrant's Commitment and Intellectual Property Statement
- Entrants warrant that their submitted work is an independent and original creation, and has not been plagiarized, altered, or misappropriated from the work of others (including unpublished creative concepts).
- If the work involves team collaboration, is a commissioned work, or is a work made for hire, the entrant must ensure that written authorization has been obtained from all rights holders and shall bear all legal responsibilities arising therefrom.
- Copyright Ownership: The copyright of the submitted work always belongs to the creator(s). However, by entering the competition, entrants are deemed to grant the organizers the following non-exclusive rights:
(1) To reproduce, disseminate, publicly display, and transmit the work via information networks for the purposes of judging, promotion, exhibition, and publication.
(2) To use information about the work in award-related derivative products (such as yearbooks, white papers, and course case studies).
